On Wednesday May 21st a group of 15 people headed out to the Fraser Valley Gleaners in Abbotsford and cut up peppers for a couple of hours. "Why did we do this?" you might ask.

At the Gleaners, volunteers chop and process vegetables that are dried and eventually made in to soup mix that is donated to marginalized peoples around the world. And it's actually a lot of fun! We had a good time chatting with one another while our hands were busy at work. Over the course of the evening we processed enough vegetable to make 1500 bowls of soup that will go to fill the tummy's of people who would othewise go hungry and in the process show them the love of Christ.
