We are excited to have the Columbia Bible College touring team lead us in worship and in the message today. They will be continuing our sermon series called "The Stories that Shape Us" with the story of the raising of Lazarus in John 11.

Sermon series: the Stories that Shape Us

We are all shaped by stories, ones we are told and ones we tell ourselves, but how are we shaped by them and are we shaped by the best ones? During the season of Lent, we will be exploring a number of Jesus stories with an eye to how Jesus has or is re-storying us.

Following the message each Sunday, we want to give opportunity for people to share how the Jesus story we have pondered that day has shaped or re-storied them. In preparation for that opportunity, and as a way to make space in our busy lives during Lent, we welcome you to reflect on the stories of Jesus we are studying. Take time each week to read the scripture and let God speak to you, using the pages of the journal to jot down your thoughts, prayers, and reflections.
