MCC's Indigenous Neighbours and Migration & Resettlement programs invite you to a film screening of "Common Territory" on Wednesday, July 10th!

This local independent documentary explores stories of newcomers and Indigenous peoples who have experienced displacement and cultivated belonging in the traditional territories of the Stó:lō peoples (the Fraser Valley area). Through intimate interviews, "Common Territory" sheds light on their shared experiences of navigating and resisting assimilation into dominant Canadian culture, all while striving to maintain their distinctive cultural identities and connections to the land.

“Common Territory” Film Screening

The screening will take place at 7:00pm in the Banquet Room at Emmanuel Mennonite Church, Abbotsford, BC. This screening event includes a panel Q&A with guest experts.

Tickets are $5 and can be purchased online. View event details.
