Every church has had a beginning, often a small and unspectacular one. Yet, small beginnings, like mustard seeds, ought never to be underestimated because God makes them grow.
Our church began small, with a few Bible Study fellowship groups that met in homes and them in various rental spaces. With the encouragement and support of the B.C. Board of Church Extension and sister congregations like Willingdon Church in Burnaby and Killarney Park Church in Vancouver, our church was planted and received official church status in June 1975.
The story of Eagle Ridge Bible Fellowship is really a story of God's faithfulness, a story that we want to tell and share with others at a banquet on November 15, 2025. The evening will begin in our gym at 5:00 pm with drinks and appetizers, followed by a catered meal at 5:45 pm and a program in our sanctuary around 7 pm.
On Sunday morning, Nov. 16th, we will have a celebration service at 10:15 am with former pastor Doug Monkemeier sharing a message of encouragement and challenge. Everyone is welcome to join us.
Tickets for the Nov. 15th banquet are only $10 with all proceeds going to support our local SHARE foodbank. Ticket will go on sale beginning October 1st. Stay tuned for more information.
