MCC AGM
You are invited to join the MCC BC Annual General Meeting on October 15 from 9 am to 2 pm at Emmanuel Mennonite Church (3417 Clearbrook Rd, Abbotsford). Registration is $15 and will include a lunch.
On the agenda is the review of the past year, updates on the work in the Ukraine, the Global Hunger Crisis and the local programs in Canada. Financial statements and reports will also be discussed.
The keynote speakers this year are Katie and Andrew Geddert who served in the Ukraine as Peace Resource Persons and later on as Country Representatives. Katie is well experienced in refugee resettlement and Andrew is currently serving as a psychologist in a center that provides services to immigrants and asylum-seekers. He is also working remotely for the Ukraine program as a trauma support and resource specialist.
