Hello friends,

We’ll be joining the Focus Club from Douglas College for a fun day out on Saturday, July 26!

We’ll start with blueberry picking at Hansra Farm (18266 Old Dewdney Trunk Road). Please bring your own container or bucket. The cost is $2 per pound. Blueberry picking usually lasts about an hour, so we expect to finish around 11:00 a.m.

After that, the group will head to Lions Park in Port Coquitlam for a picnic around 11:30 a.m. Even if you can’t make it to the farm, feel free to join us at the park for lunch. The event will officially wrap up by 1:00 p.m., but you’re welcome to stay and hang out longer if you’d like.

If you need a ride, I may have one or two spots available, and others might be able to help with transportation too—just let us know so we can help with carpooling.

Note: I won’t be able to attend the picnic portion as I have another meeting, but I believe this will be a great opportunity for you to meet other students and enjoy the day together!

Looking forward to a fun and meaningful time on July 26th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Hansra Farm and Lions Park!
