Exodus 12; John 1:29; Luke 22:14-20

When Jesus gathered with his disciples for their final meal together, their "last supper" wasn't just an ordinary meal, it was the Passover meal, the meal which re-presented the original Passover recorded in Exodus 12.  It was a story of liberation so epic their calendars were recalculated to begin each new year with this event.  The primary symbol of their freedom was not a statue of liberty type monument but a sacrificial lamb. Listen and learn why John the Baptist called Jesus "the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!" (John 1:29)
