Mennonite Disaster Service

Mennonite Disaster Service is a volunteer network of Anabaptist churches that responds in Christian love to those affected by disasters in Canada and the United States.  While the main focus is on clean up, repair and rebuilding homes, this service touches lives and nurtures hope, faith and wholeness.

Volunteers from our church have recently worked to help rebuild homes destroyed by fires in places like Bastrop,Texas, and homes damaged by flooding in High River, Alberta.  Other MDS volunteers have been helping rebuild homes destroyed by wildfires in Fort McMurry, Alberta and we are currently raising funds to help with the BC Wildfires response.  For more info on these rebuilding efforts click on the following links:
