On Sunday, September 20 ERBF will be moving from Stage 2 to Stage 3 of our reopening plan (Did you miss our discussion on the church reopening stages? Click here for more info). This will mark another step forward in how we regularly worship together as a congregration during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In our discussion on the opening protocols, ERBF leadership said we would only begin Stage 3 when we felt we were able to do so in a safe way since we did not want to put anyone at undue risk. Since August 16, groups of under 50 people have been meeting safely in the building and we have adjusted well to the building usage protocols put into place. Our tech team has also been hard at work adapting our equipment and processes for live-streaming our services.

Stage 3 worship services means that our worship and sermons will be live but also live-streamed on ERBF’s YouTube channel so that those at home can watch simultaneously. The recording will also be available to watch after the live-streamed service.

Here's what you need to know, whether you are coming to the church in-person or joining us online:

  • If you are attending the worship service in person, nothing will change as we move from Stage 2 to Stage 3. You will still register here and follow all the protocols for in-person services. The service starts at 10:15am and external doors will open at 10am. Please be on time as we will be recording this service!
  • If you will be joining us online, then your routine may be a little different. Church services will be live, starting at 10:15am, on the ERBF YouTube channel.  YouTube will record the service as it is broadcasted and it will only be available for on-demanding viewing later that day. The link to the live-stream service will still be available on our ERBF website on our Online Services page.

By live-streaming the service we will all be experiencing the worship and the sermon together at the same time, whether we are onsite or at home.

We are looking forward to moving into this next stage of worship together as an ERBF community. If you have any questions or comments, please let us know!
